Well here we are, 2022. "A new year, a new you"as they say. Please. "Another year, another stretch of this pandemic" is more accurate.
First off, if you feel like you're jumping out of a plane without a parachute trying to catch everything you own from crashing to the ground, I'm with you. Things feel out of control right now! The Omni Cron as I like to call him, is the big bad villain trying to prevent the villagers from living a life of freedom and joy. He keeps using his big feet to smash buildings and throw fireballs as everyone runs for cover. He is causing lots of chaos, anger, frustration and in some cases fear. He's also messing with people's energy and really bringing the vibe down low.
But... he's not going anywhere. So, what are we going to do about it? How can we live in a state of joy, love and peace? There are ways, I promise. But we have to keep our energy protected and our vibration high, at least higher than the collective.
Here are some ideas to add into your everyday.
A resolution? No no. Just ideas you can add in.
Drink water with lemon throughout the day. GET and stay hydrated.
Name 3 things you're thankful for when you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed.
Meditate for a few minutes.
Do Donna Eden's Energy Routine, or even part of it.
Focus on the good.
Keep your anxiety and stress low (Emotion Code can help with this).
Come from a place of love and understanding. People are hurting and their anger, fear and frustration is often displaced. IT IS NOT YOU.
Give love and be open to receive love.
Do something you enjoy everyday.
Improve your self talk. Turn that little inner critic down and stop those unhelpful thoughts.
Exercising and eating well are also ways to raise your vibration, but I kept them off of the list because I'm sick of "the diet starts tomorrow" mentality. Eating well and exercising should and can be a part of a balanced life. It doesn't have to be this big commitment thing where you lock up cabinets and throw away every morsel of food that doesn't fit on Whole30. Just be balanced. As my MIL says, "everything in moderation." And living a balanced life is living a good life- while The Omni Cron is attacking or not.
And lastly, remember to breathe.
These are hard times.
But as my fav band says, things come around.
